To do this, upload your site to ftp.xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.
where the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx represents the IP address sent to you in your welcome letter.
Make sure you upload your homepage titled "index.html" into the "www" or "public_html" folder. They are the same thing, one is just easier to type for lazy fingers 
fingers.
